But here's the thing, and it has been pointed out before - the levels are in no way as creative as ANY of the other levels from the numbered Tony Hawk games. That is alright in a sense, that was hot stuff when it came out and even on the HD release people were loving it.
The style of game that we're looking at here is the old style, numbered Tony Hawks. From top to bottom the game is a mess and I think if you honestly had the chance to ask anyone who worked on it, they'd say the same thing. The "honest" review seems to not at all take into account any of the negatives and gives points for things like "I can have Octodad's head on a robot body" which puts priorities. Turns out, this is exactly what happened in the first morning that I had it. I went into the store today planning to pre-order something but I saw that the new Tony Hawk was out and I might as well check it out - the I went into the store today planning to pre-order something but I saw that the new Tony Hawk was out and I might as well check it out - the worst thing that could happen is that I return it with my satisfaction guarantee and just put down the money on the pre-order anyways. This game is a disgrace to the Tony Hawk franchise and you should avoid it at ALL COSTS. The controls are just slightly less clunky than in Tony Hawk HD but you will probably be too annoyed with technical problems to even notice. All the stages are uninspired and could literally be made in the Create-A-Park mode by anyone with 15 minutes to spare. The "seamless" online interaction is buggy and even the music suffers from hiccups. Now let me briefly go into the gameplay and presentation: As ugly as the game is, it still suffers from major framerate drops. No one would have willingly kept this horrible excuse for a Tony Hawk game on his HDD if a refund was still possible.

The only reason they cancelled this game for PC is because of the newly introduced 'refund' option on Steam. How any company would dare to ask $60 for a game with minimal content and a multitude of technical bugs, I cannot fathom.
